Magda Titirici has a BSc from University of Bucharest, a PhD from University of Dortmund and a Habilitation from the Max-Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces. In 2013 Magda moved to the UK to take a reader followed by a professorship at Queen Mary University of London. In 2019 she moved to Imperial College London to take up a Chair in Sustainable Energy Materials. Her research is on the use of more sustainable materials in applications such as batteries beyond Li ion and electrocatalythic processes.
