Seb co-founded Watercycle during his PhD in Nanoscience at the University of Manchester. He was endorsed by Sandisk Co-founder Dr Eli Harari, receiving a £50,000 grant which enabled him to found the company. He holds an MEng in Materials Science and Engineering also from the University of Manchester and is a specialist in membrane technology, water treatment, hydrometallurgy and mineral processing which form the technology portfolio of Watercycle. He has published 13 academic papers and has filed 12 patents.
