Marcin Orzech is a Senior Research Officer at Swansea University. He holds an EngD in Materials and Manufacturing, along with degrees in Materials Engineering and Mechatronics. Currently he is working on scale-up of sodium-ion battery technologies. His research focuses on Prussian White cathodes and anode-free cell architectures, with emphasis on manufacturability, reproducibility, and practical implementation at pouch cell level. Previously R&D Manager at Redox.me, he developed advanced electrochemical cells for materials research. Marcin is founder of Wattcrafts – company making specialised R&D equipment, and the author of Usable Watts platform, supporting battery research community tools like Wattcell and Wattrank.
