Dr Evi Petavratzi is a Principal Mineral Commodity Specialist at the British Geological Survey (BGS), with over 15 years of working experience. Her work is in the field of critical raw materials and sustainable and responsible supply, both from primary and secondary sources. Her work focuses on promoting equitable resource use for materials essential to achieving net zero. She had a leading role in a range of projects, including the Interdisciplinary Circular Economy Centre for Technology Metals (Met4Tech), which established the UK technology metals observatory and the UK Critical Minerals Intelligence Centre (CMIC), for which she led the delivery of several UK foresight studies on materials in decarbonisation technologies and contributed to the delivery of the 2024 UK criticality assessment.
