Our colleagues at Intercalation have launched an essay competition! This competition aims to engage thinkers and communicators in envisioning the future of the battery industry.
Prompt: “Your vision for the battery industry in 2040”
Participants are invited to submit essays exploring their perspectives on the future of the battery industry. Consider innovations, technological advancements, market trends, environmental impacts, and societal changes that could shape the industry over the next decade. You could also highlight what you see as the major challenges and roadmap in reaching that vision. The prompt is broad deliberately, we want to see what you do with it, and how you tell the story.

- Launch Date: 1st July 2024
- Submission Deadline: 5th September 2024
- Judging Period: 6-12th September 2024
- Winners Announced: Faraday Institution Conference, Newcastle University, 12th September 2024
