Gabriela Horwitz obtained her PhD in Chemistry at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2021. There, she studied the transport properties, stability, and nanostructure of electrolytes for advanced Li-ion and Li-air batteries. After that, she moved to the group of Prof. Clare Grey at the University of Cambridge, where she currently studies Li-ion cathode materials using finite-element simulations. She also coordinates anode-related research as Project Lead for the Faraday Degradation Project (https://degradationproject.com/).
