Dr Andrey Poletayev

Andrey Poletayev is a postdoctoral scholar at the University of Oxford. He devotes his scientific career to contributing to a carbon-neutral society. To do so, he studies transport and electrochemical properties of battery and energy-technology materials and processes using computational, optical, and electrochemical methods. He received his Ph.D. in Materials Science & Engineering from Stanford University in 2020 and completed a postdoctoral appointment jointly at Stanford and the Stanford Linear Accelerator National Laboratory. Prior to those, he received an M.Phil. in Physics from the University of Cambridge and a B.S. in Chemistry from Caltech.
