Dr Sam Niblett

Postdoctoral Research Associate, University of Cambridge

Sam Niblett is a Postdoctoral researcher in computational Chemistry in the Grey Group at Cambridge, and a Research Fellow of Clare Hall. He received his PhD degree from Cambridge under the supervision of Professor David Wales FRS, studying the dynamics of supercooled liquids using potential energy landscape theory. He then spent three years at UC Berkeley, working with Professor David Limmer to simulate and understand reactions at structural interfaces using rare-event methods and machine-learned forcefields. Now back in Cambridge, he studies transport mechanisms and reactivity in battery electrolytes using multiple computational techniques, and is part of the Nexgenna project.
