Mr Jeremy Lowen

Jeremy Lowen is a PhD student under the supervision of Dr Josh Makepeace in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Birmingham. His research specialises in new solid electrolyte material development for all-solid-state batteries. Currently on a break from his PhD, he is working on an EPSRC Impact Acceleration Award striving to develop patentable material in a new area of solid electrolyte research. Having also worked as a Battery Cost Analyst for Exawatt|CRU, Jeremy is passionate about the growth of the battery industry in the UK and continuing to advance this key technology through his work.
