Abhoy Karmakar received his BSc in Chemistry from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, and his MSc in Chemistry from IIT Bombay. He completed his PhD in 2021 at the University of Alberta, focusing on solid-state NMR of halide perovskites for photovoltaic and optoelectronic applications. Since 2022, he has been a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Prof. Clare Grey’s group at the University of Cambridge, studying sodium-ion battery cathodes with solid-state NMR to understand their structure-property relationships.
