Sébastien Liatard

Sébastien Liatard is a French researcher specialising in Gen4 and Gen5 battery technologies. He completed his PhD in molecular electrochemistry at the University of Grenoble in 2012, followed by postdoctoral work on Li–S technology at the CEALiten. In 2015, he joined the UK startup OXIS Energy, contributing to the development of Li–S batteries for nearly seven years. Since returning to the CEA in 2021, he has continued his work on Li–S systems and sulfide-based solidstate batteries.
