Professor Jenny Baker

Professor Jenny Baker is Professor of Industrial Decarbonisation at the University of Bath and Co-Director of the Centre for Integrated Materials, Processes and Structures, leading research on the sustainable manufacture of next‑generation batteries. Her work focuses on solid‑state manufacturing, advanced processing techniques, and the integration of life cycle analysis into materials and cell design. She began her career at Rolls‑Royce, developing aerospace titanium manufacturing routes, and brings extensive experience in translating circular manufacturing concepts into high‑performance engineering systems.
