Professor Darren Walsh

Darren Walsh obtained his PhD from Dublin City University, before undertaking a postdoctoral position at the University of Texas. He then moved to Newcastle University as a Lecturer in Physical Chemistry, before moving to the University of Nottingham, where he is currently Professor of Chemistry.  His research interests span several electrochemical topics, from electrocatalysis in fuel cells and electrolysers, to the development of additives and materials for next-generation batteries. He is co-investigator on the Faraday Institution LiSTAR project, member of the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusivity working group of the institution, and training champion for the LiSTAR project.
