Dr Mohammed Ahmed Zabara

Dr Mohammed Ahmed Zabara is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Cambridge. His research focuses on next-generation energy storage, utilizing advanced electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and operando diagnostics to optimize lithium and sodium battery interfaces. By resolving complex degradation mechanisms, his work accelerates the development of stable, high-performance alkaline-metal systems. At this year’s conference, he will present his latest insights into optimizing electrolyte formulations and interfacial design for sodium batteries.
