Dr Louise Turner

Louise joined Ilika in 2012 as a scientist working on a range of thin film battery projects. Today as VP of Product Development, Louise is responsible for the delivery of Ilika’s solid state battery roadmap for both Stereax and Goliath product ranges. Her areas of expertise include the application of high throughput methods for the development of electrocatalysts and solid-state lithium-ion battery materials.

Dr. Louise Turner obtained her MBA in March 2023 from Quantic School of Business and Technology. In 2012 Louise obtained her PhD at the University of Southampton in physical chemistry developing electrocatalysts for the reduction of nitrate in groundwater and waste streams. She is author of several refereed papers related to electrocatalysts for the reduction of nitrate, electrocatalysts for the oxygen reduction reaction and electrolyte/cathode interlayers for solid-state lithium ion batteries.
