Dr Jean Marshall

Dr Jean Marshall is an Assistant Professor at the Warwick Manufacturing Group (Warwick University). Her research focuses on materials and processing for lithium-ion batteries, with particular interests in sustainable electrode manufacturing, advanced binders, solid-state electrolytes, and the scale-up of battery technologies. She has a background in polymer chemistry, having completed her PhD at the University of Cambridge before working in both academic and industrial research. Her current work spans battery materials development, electrode formulation, and cell manufacturing, with the aim of enabling safer, more sustainable, and higher-performance energy storage systems.
