Dr Cheng Zhang

Dr Cheng Zhang, Associate Professor at Centre for E-mobility and Clean Growth (CECG), Coventry University. Previously a research fellow at WMG, University of Warwick and Imperial College London.  

His research focuses on battery management algorithms, including battery digital twins, state estimation/control/optimisation, fast charging and thermal management etc. He has led two Innovate UK projects and a Faraday Institute Industry fellowship as principal investigator and two Horizon Europe projects as co-investigator. He has published more than 50 papers in this area.
