Asma Eddarir is a researcher at the Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission, working in the field of battery safety, with expertise in stationary energy storage systems, electric vehicles, lithium-ion battery behaviour, and emerging battery chemistries. As a researcher, Asma Eddarir contributes to providing scientific and technical support to the European Commission through research, testing, analysis, and evidence-based assessments. Her work supports EU policymaking, regulatory development, and standardisation activities.
