Dr Alexander Kibler

Dr Alex Kibler is an Assistant Professor in Electrochemical Systems at UCL within the Advanced Propulsion Laboratory (APL).  He is a synthetic chemist and electrochemist, with 7 years’ expertise in battery electrolyte design for next-generation energy storage systems; specifically those which present challenging chemistries such as Al-ion and Li-S batteries (LiSTAr Co-I). His work spans fundamental electrolyte design through new solvent, salt and additive molecules, bulk and interfacial electrolyte characterisation and full-cell testing.
