Dr Pooja Kumari

Research Fellow, University of Warwick

Dr Pooja Kumari hold a PhD degree in all solid-state Li-ion batteries from the Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur, India. Pooja developed her interest in understanding electrochemical reaction mechanism of battery electrode materials via advanced in-situ and operando characterisation techniques when she joined the Faraday Institution’s Battery Characterisation project as a Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham, UK. Herein, she developed in-situ NMR and operando MRI techniques for Li-ion batteries. Following this, Pooja wanted to explore beyond Li area, thus, she joined Faraday Institution’s NEXGENNA project as a Research Fellow at the University of Sheffield, UK. Herein, she developed a green synthesis method to prepare Sodium Titanates based anode materials for Na-ion batteries.
Currently she is working as a Research Fellow at the Energy Innovation Centre, Warwick Manufacturing Group, at the University of Warwick, UK. Her research focused on the Li, and Ni-rich cathode materials for electrification sector.
