Kit McColl is a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Bath, working on the Faraday Institution CATMAT project, where he is using atomistic simulation methods to understand oxygen-redox in battery cathode materials. His core expertise is in density functional theory calculations, and he employs aims to use cutting-edge tools to understand structure-property relationships in battery materials from the atomic to the nanoscale.
