Edmund Dickinson is the Head of Electrochemistry at About:Energy, a battery data and modelling startup. His role defines scientific best practice for Li-ion cell parameterisation and sets a strategy for collaborative research targeting needed model advances for emerging battery chemistries of choice. Edmund is an electrochemist by training, and in his career has specialised on industry-relevant applications of theory and simulation both in electrochemistry and general engineering physics. After a PhD at the University of Oxford, his previous roles were at COMSOL Ltd and the National Physical Laboratory, before his move to About:Energy in 2022.
