Selected Talk | Active Materials & Supply Chain Session | Tuesday 9th September 2025 – 14:00 -16:00 – The Theatre, First Floor
Dr. Beth Murdock is a Battery Materials Scientist specializing in synthesis and advanced characterization. She completed her PhD at Lancaster University, in collaboration with the Faraday Institutions’ Futurecat Project and the Material Social Futures CDT, investigating cathode degradation within the broader socio-environmental context of energy materials research. During her PhD, she interned at Exawatt, focusing on battery supply chains and techno-economic analysis. She later held an industrial research fellowship at Imperial College London, developing circular processes for templated hard carbon anodes. Beth now leads R&D on LMFP cathodes at Redoxion, advancing sustainable Li-ion battery technologies.
