Dave Rawlins

Dave Rawlins, Head of Engineering – Heavy Industry at Fortescue Zero, is a chartered engineer with more than three decades of industry product development experience. Having graduated from Imperial College in London with a Mechanical Engineering degree, he has spent 30 years in product development including over 20 years developing large scale renewable and power systems across marine and energy sectors, including a period as CTO for the High Value Manufacturing Catapult developing advanced manufacturing solutions. In March 2022, he joined WAE as Head of Engineering Technology, spearheading many of the company’s net-zero emissions initiatives across various sectors, transitioning to lead all decarbonised power system and charging product engineering programmes across off-highway sectors, with initial deployment to Fortescue Metals.
